Kevin Rögger: Grimoire of Bulgarus by CasuallyPolite

The Grimoire of Bulgarus, the first book. Heroes’ stories frequently open with a tragic past that was brought on by the death of a loved one, fueling simmering vengeance in pursuit of a distant dream, retribution, and/or a quest to face the unknown.

Our protagonist assumes the persona of Kevin Rögger, the second son of Baron Issac, who perished during the most recent war efforts and then undergoes the unfortunate assassination attempt on his three male heirs.

The endeavor was successful in and of itself, but nobody had foreseen that the second young master’s dead body would be inhabited by an extraterrestrial soul.

Kevin saw this as a responsibility and an opportunity given to him by an unfathomable existence. He made the decision to proceed along this path to the pinnacle of magical combat, for better or worse.
