Thank You, Father God, for this Sunday. Lord, we come to you first and foremost with grateful hearts. You got us through another week, and now we’re on the verge of a new one, full of new beginnings. Lord, help us to begin this exciting journey with You. Instill in us a strong desire to deepen our relationship with You. Remind us that we worship and come before You not only on Sundays; rather, it is through daily communion with You through relationship and prayer.

We thank you, Father God, for your love and faithfulness to your children. We thank you for being a perfect, holy, and trustworthy God who is greater than all the evil we see on Earth. We beseech you to give us eyes to see evil, hearts to hate evil, and a desire to flee from its presence. Lord, On this happy day, we wish to live a long life together. While death will eventually separate loved ones, we are already aware of other threats to our union. We pray for grace and assistance as you unite us so that nothing or no one can tear us apart.
