Nigerian gospel music minister and actress Patricia Temitope Alabi popularly known as Tope Alabi was born on the 27th October, 1970 in Lagos State, Nigeria, to Pa Joseph Akinyele Obayomi and Madam Agnes Kehinde Obayomi.

Tope Alabi is originally from Yewa, Imeko, in Ogun State and was the only daughter among her siblings – she had two brothers.
